Introducing Luban Lock Puzzle
Luban lock, also known as Bagua lock and Kongming lock, is a traditional civil engineering fixing device in ancient China. It was once a popular intellectual toy among the Chinese people.
It is said that Luban lock was invented by Luban in the late Spring and Autumn Period and the early Warring States Period. (It is also said that it was invented by Zhuge Liang in the Three Kingdoms period.) During the Three Kingdoms period, Kongming made Luban’s invention into a toy | Kongming lock.
Luban lock does not use nails and ropes, but is completely supported by its own structural connection. Just like a piece of paper folded in half, it can stand up, showing a seemingly simple but extraordinary wisdom.
